One Career Global is an education and migration consultancy, established in 2018, with its head office at 8th Floor, Ka-11/2 Bashundhara Road, Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and offices listed on our Contact Us page. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means One Career Global and its offices.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account, fill in your profile, book a consultation, register for an event, send an enquiry or chat with us: • Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password. Your password is stored scrambled, so no one at One Career Global can read it. • Personal information: date of birth, nationality, passport details, family details, address and an emergency contact. • Academic and professional information: education history, transcripts, certificates, English test results, work experience and your CV. • Your plans: the level, subjects, countries and start date you are interested in, and how your studies will be funded. • Documents you upload, such as your passport, certificates, bank statements and photographs. • Payment information: the amount, how you paid (for example bKash, bank transfer or cash), the transaction reference and the receipt. We do not collect or store card numbers. • Messages you send us through the live chat, enquiry forms or email. When you browse the website we also receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the website secure and working well.

How we use your information

We use your information to: • provide our education and migration consultancy services and advise you on your options; • prepare and lodge applications to universities, schools, colleges, skills-assessment bodies and visa authorities on your behalf; • keep you updated about your application, deadlines and appointments; • arrange consultations and send you event passes; • confirm payments and issue receipts; • answer your questions; • keep our website and your account secure, and improve our services; • comply with legal, regulatory and government requirements. We only send you news and offers if you have agreed to receive them.

Who can see your information

Inside One Career Global, your information is seen only by the people who need it to help you: your counsellor and authorised members of our team. Each team member's access depends on their role, and changes to your profile are recorded.

Sharing your information

We share your information only when it is needed: • with the universities, colleges, schools and education providers you apply to; • with skills-assessment bodies, embassies, immigration offices and government authorities, as your application requires; • with trusted service providers who help us run our services, such as payment, hosting, email and courier services, under strict confidentiality; • when we are required to by law, court order or a government request. We never sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone for marketing.

How we keep your information safe

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure: • the website is served over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS); • your documents are kept in a private storage area that is not part of the public website and can be opened only by you and authorised team members after signing in; • sign-in attempts are limited to block password guessing; • our records are backed up every day. Please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Where your information is stored

Your information is stored on secure servers run by our hosting provider, which may be located outside Bangladesh. Wherever it is stored, it is protected as this policy describes.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your application and our services need it, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires or to resolve a dispute. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, profile and uploaded documents, except any records we are required by law to keep.

Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work: one keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and one protects our forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you will then not be able to sign in.

Your rights

You have the right to: • see the personal information we hold about you; • correct information that is wrong or incomplete; • ask us to delete your information, where the law allows; • withdraw your consent to certain uses of your information. You can see and update most of your details in your account at any time. For anything else, write to us using the details below.

Children

Our services are for people aged 18 and over. Anyone younger needs the consent of a parent or guardian. When a parent asks us about schooling abroad for their child, the parent gives us the child's details and makes the decisions for them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
